Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of cheese
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced pickles
- Ketchup
- Mustard
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, egg, salt, and pepper
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Preheat a grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat
Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side or until they reach your desired level of doneness
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover to melt
Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute or until lightly browned
Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on the bottom bun
Add a burger patty with melted cheese on top, followed by pickles
Spread ketchup and mustard on the top bun, then place it on the burger
Serve hot and enjoy!
