Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl
Mix everything together well
Make meatballs out of the mixture that are about an inch across
Put half of the marinara sauce in the slow cooker's bottom
Put the meatballs in the slow cooker and cover them with the rest of the marinara sauce
Put the lid on top and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or high for 2 to 3 hours, until the meatballs are fully cooked
In the last 15 minutes of cooking, cover the meatballs with mozzarella cheese
Warm it up and serve it with bread or pasta
